Website Editors

On July 31, 2003, by a unanimous vote of the Board of Governors of the Nebraska Region Sports Car Club of America, Inc., permission was given to the Editors of this website for use of the content from the Exhaust Notes (the Region's official publication) dating back to the first issue published in 1954.

The Editors (listed below) are a dedicated team who have, over the past six years, literally become overwhelmed with the enormity of the task they have set for themselves. Please be patient with them. It isn't easy making the decisions about what past/future members might find interesting.

Candy donated nine albums of her photographs dating back to the mid-1980s. She has been invaluable in hunting down missing issues of the Exhaust Notes. She has taken an avid interest in the History Site, and in 2008 she was invited to be one of our editors.

Patt Buell

Patt is the one who scans and restores photos and newsletters for this website. Patt is the Region's Historian, keeping the old copies of the Exhaust Notes safe, she has donated thousands of her own photos, and she has written several of our interviews. Patt is one of our major financial backers.

Mark gives us perspective and invaluable input on the content we include. More importantly, he is having fun, learning a lot about the Region's history, and even getting to "know" some of the older members by way of the articles they wrote.

Dave is our proof reader.  A thankless job!!  He is the one who previews the endless changes to this site and points out any errors to the webmaster. Dave is also learning to code and will be advancing to the position of assistant webmaster.

Ellen is the webmaster, but she feels free to offer her opinion on the content as one of the Editors. Ellen designed and hand coded this website and is hosting and maintaining it as a gift to the Nebraska Region. (See "Webmaster" for her qualifications.)
